"I bet you look good on the dance floor" achieved three platinum records in the UK and is part of the album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not". This album holds the record for the highest number of copies sold for a debut album, with 364,000 copies purchased by the public in the first week.
Blur – Song 2
The song was premiered live at the RDS in Dublin in June 1996. The singer Damon Albarn stated that "Song 2" was the tentative name of the song: later, the title became the final one.
Muse – Plug in baby
"Plug in baby" begins with a guitar solo that is on the list of the 25 most beautiful riff of all time according to the magazine Total Guitar Magazine. The song appears on the list of the music video game Guitar Hero 5, a game in which frontman Matthew Bellamy is also featured among the characters.
Killers – Mr. Brightside
"Mr. Brightside" is the debut song of Killers, the first of the 2000s capable of surpassing the quota of one billion streams on all listening platforms.
